Wolfgang is currently leading H.I.G.Capital’s private equity team in Europe. Prior to H.I.G., Wolfgang was the CEO of Pricap Venture Partners AG, an investment firm he co-founded in 2000, focused on seed and growth capital investments in Germany. Before that, he was a Managing Director of Thomas J.C. Matzen GMBH, a small cap buyout firm founded by Thomas Matzen who built Schroders in Germany (today Permira) and later managed the investment activities of CinVen in Germany until 1996. He started his career as a Consultant at BCG in Germany and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Master Degree from ESCP.

Alexander is an Investment Manager at BIF Partners. Prior to that he gained experience in Venture Capital as a Ventures Analyst at Plug & Play Tech Center, one of the most active early stage VC investors in the U.S. Furthermore, Alexander has gained experience in Finance at HSBC in its Corporate Banking division and at EY in the Transaction Services department. Alexander is an Alumnus from Bocconi University and has completed his post-graduate studies at ESCP Europe, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Finance.

Jan-Philipp holds a BSc. in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a MSc. in Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics. He has more than 3 years of professional experience in founding, running, scaling and consulting start-ups at different levels of maturity. He is currently working for FANtium, a start-up in the Web 3.0 space.

Francesco is currently working in strategy consulting at BCG. He has a Bachelor in Management from ESCP Business School. Prior to that he spent two years in Hong Kong, working in the buying office of Coop Switzerland. Having worked and studied in China, France, UK and Spain, his focus is on international business.
